All Levels Mat Yoga Experience
A personalized yoga experience, this class is designed for YOU! Classes are tailored to those who register in advance. Expect to address physical imbalances along with an invitation to address deeper subler layers of your being through pranayama (breath work), breath centric asana (poses) and meditation. Thai yoga massage based assists are given throughout the class when appropriate, leaving you feeling more balanced and at ease. This class is open to all levels. Restorative Yoga Experience
Wind down from your day and prepare for the week ahead with this evening class designed to relieve stress, prepare you for sound sleep and start your week off right! Using candlelight, aromatherapy, inspirational quotes, and thai massage expect to relieve stress and leave peaceful. Blending breath centered movement, longer held Yin stretches and restorative poses are used to promote deep relaxation and meditation. This all levels class is a perfect antidote to stress!
Yoga for Vitality Experience
Take your joints through their full range of motion. Prevent degenerative arthritis or mitigate disability by "squeezing and soaking" areas of cartilage that normally aren't used. Spinal disks are the shock absorbers between the vertebrea that can herniate and compress nerves. They crave movement to get their nutrients. This well balanced yoga practice with plenty of backbends, forward bends, and twists, can help keep your disks supple. When you contract and stretch muscles, move organs around, and come in and out of yoga postures, you increase the drainage of lymph, which in turn helps the lymphatic system fight infection, destroy cancerous cells, and dispose of the toxic waste products of cellular functioning. All this leaving the practitioner with greater health and vitality!
Aerial Yoga Experience
Aerial Yoga is a playful and fun way to practice yoga! With the weight of the body supported in a soft hammock,expect deeper stretches and greater flexibility while building core strength. Suspension in the air releases tension on the bones and muscles, loosens fascia and connective tissue increasing flexibility and deepening your practice. Aerial yoga strengthens core muscles, helps to decompress your back and increases spinal and shoulder flexibility. Aerial Yoga is offered in small private groups.
